Playa del Carmen is only a short distance from the spectacular Mayan ruins;Tulum, Coba, Chichen Itza and Ek Balam. At hundreds of points around the region stand majestic Mayan ruins which speak eloquently of the grandeur of this imposing culture. The most frequently visited Mayan ruin sites (with the exception of Tikal in Guatemala) are all in Mexico, and can be reached by air, bus, or car from Playa del Carmen, or if you prefer, we can assist you in finding a tour to the ruin of your choice.

There are abundant options for shopping while in Playa del Carmen. Steps away from the Xaman Ha condos you will find the new Paseo del Carmen, full of some of the best in shopping, dining and evening entertainment. Just past Paseo, Fifth avenue begins. Fifth avenue, which is the main promenade in Playa, harbors hundreds of shops where you can find anything from hand made clothing, jewelry, or Mayan art

The 18 hole Playcar Golf Course was built amongst the lush foliage of the Yucatan Peninsula, making this golf course not only beautiful, but challenging as well. The Club provides a first class practice area, complete with a spectacular driving range, and a large putting green including chipping, pitching, and green side bunker areas. After the game, golfers can visit the bar and grill for refreshments while enjoying a marvelous view of the 18th hole.
